Known for his numerous albums, soundtracks, and collaborations with the likes of Ryuichi Sakamoto, Van Dyke Parks, Pierre Barouh, Björk & Elvin Jones, composer & saxophonist Yasuaki Shimizu also released, during the 80s, several electronic music productions which are currently generating a lot of interest (a.o. his recently reissued Mariah project).
