Ligesom Rigtige Mennesker

Messell plays glitch/noise-ambient based on sampled fragments from mainly classical music, cell-phone recordings and analogue and digital synthesizers. His debut album "Ligesom Rigtige Mennesker", which translates to "Just Like Real People", is a series of reflections on the constant comparison of oneself to others. It is an album of opposites, as it deals with the disillusionment in the pursuit of an impossible ideal, while it also contains a sense of freedom or consolation in the knowledge that such an ideal does not - and can not - exist.
